August

Newt arrives and is whisked from decontamination to a medical containment room, deemed too much of a health hazard to be allowed in the general population. He was given an injection to make The Flare inert, which he's told he'll be expected to do every month in the medbay or be deemed a threat and neutralized. He has a bit of a meltdown on the network the first day, but over the course of his 2 weeks in containment he calms down considerably and has a few conversations, including one with Ben about mapping things out and books and a bit about the world Newt comes from.

When Newt gets out of containment 2wks later, he does some general exploring and finds housing, deciding to room with Julie Grigio.

Newt is a bit creeped out by the Research & Development area that Peter largely tends to occupy and got a bit heavy in the details he shared with Ami about things back home (until it got too close to certain later parts of it and he cut the conversation a bit short. He also had a confusing and possibly slightly unsettling talk with Cole.

He discusses the merits of sprucing up the arrival room with Aziraphale and offers to help Shepard in the medbay when he can. He also gives the community a heads-up about the new fungal and algae growth in the park and gives Kabal confused looks at finding he's being willed the guy's swords.
